Hello everyone! I’m Dima. It’s unusual for me to write down words, because I’m a videomaker. At UNITED24, I make almost all the videos you see on our social media, in media, celebrity Instagrams and even in Times Square. And the 60+ animations of NAFO Fellas with named drones — that’s me too :)
My work is emotionally taxing. I’m the first to see all the videos taken from hospitals, rebuilt bridges and destroyed houses. I have to go through everything to select a couple of frames for you. I often see tears, despair, pain. But even more often — hope, strength, a huge desire to restore and rebuild. I see how Ukrainians are grateful for your support. If I could create a video of all the words “thank you” that sound in your honor, it would be a full-length film. Perhaps one day – on Victory Day – we will implement this idea!
In the meantime, take a moment and watch a video from the school in Buzova village. When we made it, nobody held back tears. Children just want to study. Sit at their desks. Hear the school bell. No one has the right to take this away from them. I made a video appeal by actress Ivanna Sakhno and Nobel laureate Paul Nurse, in which they ask people to join the fundraiser. It was very convincing; I’m not a star, I’m not a superhero, but I’m asking you too: help us to close this fundraiser. And I will make the best video ever about it.
